A History of High Performance Design

Fanning Howey's portfolio in mechanical/electrical engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, and technology consulting includes many different types of civic buildings and spaces, including schools, college and university facilities, libraries, churches, and recreation centers. Our projects reflect our commitment to providing safe, comfortable, and sustainable environments, and in many cases, our work in building engineering has also served as an educational tool—with exposed elements and hands-on opportunities to learn how buildings work.

Many of our projects incorporate innovative design concepts and breakthrough technology. We regularly publish articles and offer presentations on new trends and developments, as well as case studies and lessons learned.
