Middle School Planning and Design

A student's middle school years represent a time of transition, and possibly present the greatest challenge for educators. Fanning Howey has worked with clients across the nation to create buildings and campuses that meet these challenges and help every student find their place.

As middle school architects, we advocate the use of small learning communities to strengthen connections between students and staff. Age-appropriate environments, adaptable technology infrastructures, and multifunctional shared-use spaces can all help to address the needs of today's middle school programs.
