Fanning Howey seeks a highly skilled and qualified Project Manager / Business Manager for our location in Washington D.C. This position will involve:
- Review requests for proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Confer with project staff and client to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Review status and project budget reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
- Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Coordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
- Assisting and managing areas of the business for this regional office.
Preferred candidates will be registered architects holding an MBA for this position. Knowledge of design build process preferred. K-12 educational facility design experience extremely helpful.
