Fanning Howey is pleased to announce that Troy Glover, REFP, has joined the firm as an Educational Planner. Troy previously spent 11 years with the educational planning firm DeJONG, Inc., where he served as Vice President for Urban Schools.
Troy holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University. He is an active member of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International, a worldwide professional organization with the sole mission of improving the places where children learn. He is the former Treasurer and current President of CEFPI's Midwest/Great Lakes Region and has achieved the title of Recognized Educational Facility Professional, CEFPI's professional designation. Troy was presented with one of CEFPI’s Service Citation Awards at their September 2009 Annual International Conference in Washington, DC. Troy has been involved in ambitious educational planning efforts for school districts including Baltimore City Public Schools, District of Columbia Public Schools, Long Beach Unified School District, New Orleans Public Schools, Phoenix School District, Pittsburgh Public Schools, and St. Louis Public Schools. He has published in national trade magazines and is recognized as a national thought leader in areas related to planning for urban school districts. |
