![]() Habitat for Humanity In addition to our long-standing contributions through professional organizations such as the American Institute of Architects, we regularly take part in the following: FernCare Free ClinicFanning Howey provided pro bono planning and design services for the development of the FernCare Free Clinic. FernCare is a free medical clinic for people ages 18 through 64 who are without insurance or are underinsured. http://www.ferncare.org/Schools for Children of the WorldWe actively support the worthwhile efforts of this international organization, which builds and improves educational facilities in Central America and Africa. Our CEO, Dan Mader, is a member of the board of directors. Many of our employees have participated in working field trips to Honduras. http://www.schoolsforchildren.org/School Building WeekWe are a sponsor of School Building Week, a program developed by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International to highlight school design at the middle school level. The program involves many young students, introducing them to design professions while inspiring them to learn more about school buildings. www.cefpi.orgHabitat for HumanityEach year, our Indianapolis office serves as a Build Sponsor for Habitat for Humanity. Every day, Habitat provides 145 new homes for disadvantaged families, and we are proud to be part of this effort. http://www.habitat.org/O.U.R. Home Family Resource CenterEvery December the northwestern Ohio office holds a food drive for O.U.R. Home Family Resource Center, a local food pantry. This year, the office donated 2 vehicles worth of food.Fanning Howey Employee Family ScholarshipsEach year, Fanning Howey awards a renewable four-year academic scholarship to a high school senior who is a child of a Fanning Howey employee. The applications are independently judged by Fanning Howey clients. |
