Design Highlights

Madison Park Elementary School utilizes a variety of high performance strategies to lower operating costs and provide a better environment for students and teachers. A displacement ventilation system supplies cool air at the floor level and, through natural convection, returns air at a higher level to recirculate through the system. In each classroom, sound reinforcement systems ensure that students can hear the teacher and stay focused and alert. In the first year of school, teachers at Madison Park report increased attentiveness among students, as well as improved test scores.
