  • Provide career-focused learning environments
  • Encourage collaboration among disciplines

Design Highlights

The new Rupp Communication Arts Center meets the needs of Taylor University’s growing Communication Arts program. The 47,850-square-foot addition acts as the second phase of a developing Arts complex and provides students majoring in the Performing Arts, Broadcasting, and Journalism with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

A 309-seat theater and associated spaces support the Performing Arts program. Broadcasting majors enjoy cutting-edge television and radio studios, control rooms, and editing rooms. Journalism students get real-life experience thanks to darkrooms, production rooms, and multimedia classrooms. A central, two-story lobby encourages interdepartmental collaboration and learning.
