Examine the needs of the growing Traverse Area District Library service community and the ability of the library system's service locations to meet those needs
Specifically address whether additional branches are needed and if existing branches are appropriately positioned
Highlights
To address future needs, the Library commissioned a planning study to examine the need for additional branch libraries. The process included a benchmarking analysis, space needs recommendations, and extensive community engagement. The final report recommends the redistribution of library services in response to future population growth and lays the groundwork for a future System-Wide Master Plan.
