Design Highlights
A large addition to the existing high school provides students and residents with new opportunities for recreation and fitness. The dynamic facility, which is open to the public for much of the day, includes a family aquatics center, competitive lap pool, field house with indoor jogging track, and a 5,000-square-foot fitness center. The family aquatics center’s distinctive “Jungle” theme is the result of collaborative design sessions with students and residents. Thanks to its focus on innovative partnerships, Milford has been featured in Recreation Management's Innovative Architecture & Design Awards and the Architectural Showcase sponsored by Athletic Business.
